Courtney R. Goerlitz (Sensynapse),  is a visual artist based in Denver, Colorado.
Courtney's subject matter generally consists of a woman's face, unpredictable line-work, and a pleasantly soft, contrasting color palette. She describes her traditional art style to be 'spontaneous and far from intentional. If I think about what I want to make, it won't happen. Anything artistic that comes out of me is predominantly expressive and compulsive. I am blessed to not be a prisoner of [inspiration]."  Her style has been described as a messy mix of neo-expressionism, art brut, graffiti, and anatomical illustration.
"I want to bridge the gap. I want to implement a synapse of common sense when it comes to understanding humans and our behavior.  How beautiful it would be to end judgement and miscommunication via the universal language of science. A radical study in developmental neuroscience, by dissecting behavioral patterns, both psychologically and physiologically, thru artistic expression."
